Shipping policy
1. General
At Vkalpa, we strive to keep accurate stock counts on our website; however, occasional discrepancies may occur. In such cases, we will contact you to either:
*Backorder:* Await restocking of the out-of-stock item(s) or provide a refund.
*Partial Shipment:* Receive the available items and a refund for the out-of-stock items or you can choose to wait for restocking.
2. Shipping Costs
*Shipping Costs:* Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of the items in your order. Shipping payment will be collected along with your purchase, and this amount will be the final shipping fee.
3. Delivery Terms
3.1 Transit Time Domestically
Domestic orders typically take 7–14 days in transit.
3.2 Dispatch Time
We aim to dispatch orders within 3 business days following payment confirmation. Our warehouse operates Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays, and we take steps to minimize any delays.
3.3 Change of Delivery Address
If you need to change your delivery address, please do so before your order is dispatched. We cannot change the address after dispatch.
3.4 P.O. Box Shipping
Vkalpa ships to P.O. boxes via postal services only; courier services are unavailable for these locations.
3.5 Delivery Time Exceeded
If your delivery time surpasses our estimated time, please reach out to us so we can investigate.
4. Tracking Notifications
Once your order is dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking link to monitor its status. Updates are provided by the shipping provider.
5. Parcels Damaged in Transit
If your parcel is damaged upon arrival, please refuse delivery from the courier and contact our customer service team for assistance.
6. Duties & Taxes
6.1 Import Duties & Taxes
For international shipments, import duties and taxes may apply upon arrival. These costs vary by country and are the responsibility of the customer. If you refuse to pay these fees, the items will be returned at your expense, and a refund will be issued for the product price, minus return shipping costs. Initial shipping fees are non-refundable.
